Built on the slopes of Elsie’s Peak, Amazing Whale comprises of two unique, fully equipped, self-catering boutique apartments. There is an inter-linking staircase which allows it to be booked as a seven-bedroom villa or individually as two duplex apartments. Year round, watch and be entertained by the dolphins at play, the boating activities in the bay and fishermen returning to Kalk Bay and Simonstown harbours.
Accommodation
The stylishly decorated apartments have separate entrances and feature modern, fully equipped open plan kitchens with microwave, oven and hob. The units have dual view satellite (cable) TV, DVD and direct telephone line and have both secure garage parking and open, off-street parking bays. A daily service is provided and laundry and babysitting can be arranged.
The African Zen apartment offers 4 bedrooms - 2 with queen beds and 2 each with 2 single beds, 2 bathrooms both with bath and separate shower, kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area, lounge and both open and enclosed balconies and an indoor braai / BBQ. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are open plan enhancing the feeling of spaciousness. All living areas and 3 of the bedrooms have breathtaking views over the ocean below. The unit has access to the cliff-side terraced garden. The Zen styling is made warm and welcoming with African touches. Sleeps 2 to 8 people.
The Caribbean unit has 3 bedrooms - 2 are en-suite with king beds and 1 with 2 single beds. There is a third full bathroom, kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and lounge. It features an indoor garden and braai / BBQ and an outside deck opening onto the cliff-side terraced garden. All living areas and 2 of the bedrooms have stunning views over the sea below. The blue and cream Caribbean décor enhances the holiday feeling. Sleeps 2 to 6 people.
