The garden cottage in located in Camps Bay, a delightful cove on the Atlantic coast, nestling below the majestic 12 Apostles. A mile of white beach, bordered by grass and palm trees and 28 restaurants, create an ambiance that is difficult to forget. The temperature climate of the area enables our guests to make full use of their time as they explore the surrounding natural beauties and attractions, many of which are within a 15 minute radius. Waterfront, Hout Bay, Cable Car up Table Mountain and City Centre are 15 minutes drive away. To reach the Winelands you need 50 minutes, to Chapman’s Peak about 20 minutes. When you want to go to False Bay via Chapman’s Peak you drive about 50 minutes. The way down to Cape Point takes about 70 minutes.

The modern fully equipped, double storey garden cottage is ideal for up to 4 guests. Two upstairs bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two single beds (one slides under the other). The flat is tiled throughout. The bathroom includes a bath and shower over the bath. The main bedroom offers wonderful mountain and sea views. Downstairs, the open-plan living area comprises a comfortable lounge with televison and video, spacious, fully equipped “mother’s dream” kitchen with stove, microwave, washing machine, fold-away ironing board and dinette. The lounge leads out, through sliding door onto a large patio in quiet garden setting with BBQ facility. Having breakfast on the patio, when the sun comes up over Lions Head is a never to be forgotten experience. The attractive pool, surrounded by shrubs and trees, is away from the house and the cottage. The cottage is very child-friendly, offers a sand-pit and “black bikes” for the younger children and games, jig-saws and videos are available at no extra cost. There is a 10 minute walk to beaches and restaurants. Away from the “hustle and bustle” of the Beach Road in Camps Bay, guests invariable comment on how peaceful it is in the garden cottage.
