The Canola Karnaval to be held from 6th to 8th August 2010 has a wonderful lineup of stage productions, all in Afrikaans, culminating in the Sunday Afternoon production of Organ Fireworks. Tickets for all of these Canola Karnaval productions (except "Dis My Storie) are available through Computicket or by contacting Stella Weichelt on 082-731-4733

The Annual Canola Karnaval has a great line up of musical events for the 2010 Karnaval which takes place from 6th to 8th August 2010.
The day time shows at the Canola Karnaval are free but you need a Canola Karnaval Weekend Pass for the evening performances.

On Friday 6th August  Philip Fourie, Clinton, Mauritz, Cecily and Nadia Louw will get the Karnaval off to a rollicking start as they perform from 15h00-16h30 on the Swellengrebel Street Stage outside Seeff properties Office. Entrance is free.

The National Arts Festival 2010 has run its course to huge acclaim from both performers and visitors to the show. The dates for the 2011 version of the National Arts Festival have been announced.The Festival begins on 30th June and ends on the 9th July 2011.

This announcement has been made early so that you can arrange your travel and accommodation to Grahamstown early. We will be adding regular updates to this site regarding the 2011 National Arts Festival.

Hosted and organised by the Hermanus Times the Hermanus Kalfiefees has become the definitive arts weekend in the Western Cape.

There is a wide variety of performances and the festival is well supported.If you intend being here, bookings open on 1st July 2010.

The 8th annual Vodashop George Cheese Festival will be held from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th June 2010.

Last year the George Cheese Festival attracted over 11,000 visitors and this year organisers are expecting between 12,000 and 15,000 over the four days.

The weekend festivities begin with a soccer tournament on the Thursday and live entertainment in the evening.
