The FNB Whisky Live Festival gets underway in Cape Town on Wednesday 4th November 2009 and ends on Friday evening the 6th November.

All the best brands will be represented and there are interesting talks and demonstrations and training sessions so you can improve your knowledge of whiskies.


Cape Town International Jazz Festival

One of the highlights of the music year is the annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

Attendance figures in 2009 topped 32,000 from all corners of the world.

It is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday 3rd and 4th April 2010.

Inaugural Fugard Festival

The Inaugural Fugard Festival in Nieu Bethesda ended recently, and initial reports suggest that it was very well accepted by those that attended.

The planning committee has already started making plans for 2010. We will post details as they are forthcoming.


Strawberry Festival in Stellenbosch

Strawberry Festival in Stellenbosch

If you love strawberries then book some time to be in Stellenbosch from Thursday 22nd October to Sunday 25th October 2009.

Stellenbosch Square Shopping Centre at the corner of the R44 and Weber Valley Road is holding the Delectable Strawberry Festival on those days.

The program runs from 16:00 to 19:00 on Thursday and Friday From 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday and until 14:00 on Sunday.

There will be wine tasting from local Stellenbosch wineries. There will be wineland cuisine to enjoy and naturally tons of strawberries. Lots of activities for the kids and some great live Jazz.

Breedekloof outdoor and Wine Festival

The Breedekloof Outdoor and Wine Festival takes place from Thursday 8th October and ends 11th October.

It takes place on a group of wine farms and outdoor destinations in the Worcester, Rawsonville, Goudini and Slanghoek area. .

This is an event packed 3 days with something for the whole family. The events all take place on the wine estates in the area of Worcester, Rawsonville, Slanghoek and Goudini as well as the Goudini High School.
