The Prince Albert Olive Festival which runs from 30th April to 2nd May 2010 includes a half marathon on the Saturday Morning starting at 07:30

There is also a 5km and 10km fun run/walk.

The race starts just outside Prince Albert on the Swartberg Pass Road and the race takes you far into the Swartberg. The return route is different to last year's race and will add definite interest to even the most seasoned runner.

For race is being staged by the Zwartberg Runners who can supply more detail.

However the access to the Airport is either from the R102 (via Verulam) or the N2.

There is No access from the M4.

The Brandwag High School (Hoerskool Brandwag) in Uitenhage is hosting the Anibrandfees festival starting on Thursday evening 29th April and ending on Saturday evening 1st May.

The Standard Bank Jacaranda National Arts Festival in Pretoria starts on Monday the 26th April and runs to Sunday 2nd May.
There is an extremely full program in various venues within the main Festival Arena.

The annual Hartland Fees at Pienaar Dam outside Middleburg kicks off on Friday 23rd April 2010 with a performance by Juanita Du Plessis. It's all non stop action with beauty competitions, stage productions and music music music.
Kurt Darren, Jak de Priester, Nadine Blom and Theuns Jordaan are just some of the top names that will be performing on Friday through to Monday afternoon.

The Annual Southern Storm Duathlon over 6 days is scheduled to start on 26th September 2010 and end on 1st October 2010.

In the general area of the Tsitsikamma Forest, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna and Buffalo Bay the exact route and challenges for each day is only released to competitors at the last moment.

Last year the trail running component was around 100 km and the mtb component 210km.
