The full program promises two days of great fun.

Mountain Bike Challenges

There are three Mountain Bike Challenge Routes available: 55km, 35km and 10km. All route participants can look forward to a scenic, yet challenging route through the Marloth Nature Reserve, situated at the foothills of the Langeberg Range. The routes include gravel roads, jeep tracks and roughly 4km of amazing single-track in the forest.

Hermanus - 2011 Whale Watching Season Opens

The first Southern Right Whale of the Season has arrived in Hermanus in the last 24 hours (28th June 2011).

This marks the beginning of the whale watching season all along the Cape Whale Coast. There are plenty of places to see the whales but none better than from rocky outcrops along the Cliff Paths of Hermanus.

Apart from watching the whales from the Hermanus coast line you can get up close and very personal on a whale watching boat.

The Fashionable Vodacom Durban July Handicap 2011 has a fantastic field of 20 runners announced yesterday (15th June). As always the Durban July promises to be an exciting event, full of fashion, and great horse racing.

Trainer Mike De Kock has 5 entries and Mike Bass a further 3 in the Durban July Handicap to be run on 2nd July. Three of the entries in the Vodacom sponsored Durban July, including the current favourite IGUGU, hail from Australia. The field, Draw, Jockeys and Trainers for 2011 are listed below.
