Every year The Caledon Wildflower Society (which is now 118 years old)puts on the most amazing show of over 600 plants found in the

Local experts also make up floral arrangements of indigenous flowers for the display, The Caledon Wildflower Show will also have a children’s section, where school children are invited to participate by making floral arrangements, once again indigenous plants only, or by sketching of flowers.
A section at the Wildflower Show is dedicated to invader plants, eradication and control methods are displayed as well as the identification of these plants.
Posters giving information regarding indigenous plants will be on display, talks regarding fynbos will be given as well as planting advice and how to care for your fynbos. Videos of veld scenes will continuously be showed on a big screen.
