Hermanus - Overstrand Artistic Concepts Art Exhibition Sept 2010
Overstrand Artistic Concepts will be holding their second bi-annual art exhibition in the beautiful Fernkloof Nature Reserve from 8th to 12th September 2010. Overstrand Artistic Concepts was born out of the desire of a group of Overberg Artists to find a way of marketing their works in a manner that benefitted the entire group.
So in December last year, with not a little nervousness and lots of excitement and great anticipation and exhilaration, they launched their brainchild in Kleinmond. Now they have a Visitors Book which proves, without a doubt, the success of their endevour.
The group produces woven articles, paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor, leather art and ceramics. Overstrand Artistic Concepts plans to hold two exhibitions every year. One in Kleinmond, and a second, somewhere in the Overstrand.
The exhibition will be open from 10:00 to 17:00 every day and Knorhoek Wine Estate will be supporting them with a wine tasting which will take place on Friday 10 September from 17h00 and wine orders may be placed at the exhibition throughout the duration.
