The Annual Canola Karnaval has a great line up of musical events for the 2010 Karnaval which takes place from 6th to 8th August 2010.
The day time shows at the Canola Karnaval are free but you need a Canola Karnaval Weekend Pass for the evening performances.

On Friday 6th August  Philip Fourie, Clinton, Mauritz, Cecily and Nadia Louw will get the Karnaval off to a rollicking start as they perform from 15h00-16h30 on the Swellengrebel Street Stage outside Seeff properties Office. Entrance is free.
Then on Friday Evening Philip Fourie, Nadia Louw, Pieter Jordaan, Le Lue, Elizma Theron and old favourite Snotkop will perform from 18:00 to Midnight in the Music Tent in the Museum Grounds. You need a Canola Karnaval Weekend Pass to attend.
On Saturday from 12:30 to 16:00 Nadia Louw, Blikkies Band, Le Lue, Die Kaapse Klopse, Pieter Jordaan, Cecily and Philip Fourie will be performing in the Music Tent in the Museum Grounds. Entrance is Free.
Saturday Evening from 18:00 to Midnight Le Lue, Pieter Jordaan, Zandré, Nedine Blom, Ray Dylan, Liani May and  Arno Jordaan will be back in the Music Tent. You need your Canola Karnaval weekend pass to gain access.
On Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00 there is a wine, cheese and olive tasting hosted by Bonnievale Kelders at the Kunsmis Gallery.  Natie Ferreira will be supplying light background Piano music through the day. For more details contact Wessel Beyers on 028-514-3858 or 082-339-7456.
The Kunstshuijs Gallery will be running an art exhibition from Friday through Sunday with an "Art in the Park" theme. Various artists will be in action at the Gallery together with live light classical music. Then on Sunday at 09:30 in the beautiful NG Kerk in Swellendam Nedine Blom will be performing numbers from her latest Gospel CD - Passie vir Worship, as well as "Supercool vir Jesus" for the kids, and bringing a message for adults.
