Mossel Bay is halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth and this little seaside town has many attractions to explore. There are many outdoor activities, and It is known for its outstanding cuisine, including marlin, sole, mussels and oysters. Mossel Bay also has a fully operational harbour.
Cruises – Experience Mossel Bay from the view point on the sea, watch dolphins and just relax out on the open water.

Shark Cage Diving – Experience the intensity of the Great White shark with the safety of being in an impenetrable cage.
  • Shell Museum and Aquarium – Housing the most impressive shell collection in the garden Route, and has many interesting ways of using the shells for exhibition purposes. The aquarium has live molluscs on view.
  • Sports – Abseiling, Bungi Jumping, Horse Riding, Rock Climbing, Scuba & Shipwreck Diving.
  • The Point – Very popular for surfing, hiking and swimming.

  • Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex – With many displays, exhibits and lots of information about the complex and its surroundings, this make the museum a must for all history lovers.
  • Cape St Blaize Lighthouse – This 24hour manned lighthouse is one of the last of its kind in South Africa.
  • Khoi-San Cave – This amazing look out point has many artefacts from about 80 000 years ago.
  • The Spring – Named by Dias, this spring still flows today.
