Luigi Vigliotti’s New Shift Espresso Bar (Grand Opening) – 1st May 2014

Shift Espresso Bar 2014For all the coffee lovers out there, a treat may be starting up the street in the Design Capital of 2014; Cape Town.

Luigi Vigliotti, renowned dancer and traveling connoisseur, is in the progression of creating a new Espresso Bar with the aim of crafting the perfect blend between European palates and Western panache.

Shift Espresso Bar is currently under construction but its grand opening is due 1st May, it’s future location is at The Cape Royale Hotel on 47 Main Road, Green point, Cape Town. Such a setting already sets the ambiance for the establishment, The Cape Royale Hotel being a notable scene of refinement and upper class chic.

When asked why he sought to create an Espresso bar specifically, Luigi replied, “I’m very passionate about coffee, and I believe you follow your passions in life.”

Luigi has travelled all over the globe in his career as a professional dancer and in doing so has experienced many differing modus operandi in businesses, and he plans to bring that divergence of cultures to Shift Espresso bar.

Shift Espresso Bar plans to concoct a unique mixture of urban familiarity and a new breed of American Indie culture to Cape Town’s cultivation of fashion and styles, however remaining close enough to our own species of Indie to be relatable.

Luigi’s coffee plans to differentiate itself from other establishments in Cape Town through its specialty brews, merging Star Bucks fashion with a European taste, emphasized by its chocolaty aroma and full body with a lingering caramel-esque after taste.

For coffee lovers and style aficionados’ alike, this is not an opportunity to miss!
