It's a lot less effort than going for full time instruction to go solo skydiving and the thrill is just as sublime.
You jump from 9500 feet (that's around 3km up) and plummet earthwards in a huge adrenalin rush until your experienced guide opens the chute and you drift through the heavens back to
a safe and soft landing in the rolling hills of KZN
You have to be 13 years and older and weigh less than 110kgs to be able to jump.
Booking is essential and at least one days notice is required.
Jumping is obviously weather dependant. Heavy cloud cover and or strong winds preclude jumping.
Durban Skydive Centre has an impeccable safety record and their fees are reasonable.
