Cape Peninsula - Day Hikes in and around Cape Town

Cape Peninsula - Day Hikes in and around Cape Town

Hiking around the Cape Peninsula will give you a much clearer picture of the geography and topography of the fairest Cape. Belonging to a good hiking club has a number of distinct advantages. Take Peninsula Ramblers, for instance. Peninsula Ramblers is a club established over 60 years ago and it is run and managed by a group of very enthusiastic hikers.

To join them is extremely reasonable – R20 joining fee plus an annual membership of R50 for a single person and R70 for a family.

Peninsula Ramblers organise a whole string of interesting hikes from “easy”, through “moderate” to “strenuous”.

Here are some of the hikes they have planned for September 2010.
