There's an interesting country restaurant in Villiersdorp that incorporates a museum and the whole lot are housed in a national monument. Elegant yet not pretentious, the restaurant specialises in South African and Cape Cuisine and somewhere there has to be an author involved. You will find them at 13 Graaff Street, Villiersdorp and you can call them on 028-840-2126.

Villiersdorp is a pleasant two hour drive from Cape Town and not far from Worcester and Franschhoek.

But be warned, one you start this you'll keep coming back for more!
