Aanhuizen Guest House and B&B is in a quiet street in Swellendam, the gateway to the Garden Route of the Western Cape.
Aanhuizen Guest House and B&B has a three star grading and has very reasonable rates.
All the accommodation at Aanhuizen are en-suite and have Satellite TV, Ceiling fans, heaters, beverage points.
We have a secluded pool area in our lush garden and serve wonderful full English breakfasts.
You can walk from the guest house up to Marloth Park Nature Reserve where you can hike and go bird watching. Swellendam town centre, with all its historical buildings, museums, art galleries and restaurants are a few minutes away from Aanhuizen Guest House.
Things to do in and around Swellendam - Tour The Robertson Wine Route, Visit Bontebok National Park, Savour ethnic liqueurs at Wildebraam Estate in Swellendam.
Take a day trip to Cape Agulhas and another to Witsand and watch whales, and on your way back give the kids a thrill and go via the river pont to Malgas and back to Swellendam

From Cape Town on the N2 pass all the exits to Swellendam until you see Swellendam East. Turn left into the main road which is Swellengrebel Street.
After you cross the river Swellengrebel starts to bend to the left. Turn right into Van Oudtshoorn Street then left into Tilney and right into van Blommenstein Street. we are number 6.
From Knysna/George/Mossel Bay on the N2 take the first exit to Swellendam East (turn right) and follow directions as above
