A hidden gem awaits at Moonstruck Guest House in Pringle Bay. Pringle Bay is a tranquil coastal village, a mere one hour’s drive from Cape Town situated between Gordon’s Bay and Hermanus on the prestigious Whale Route Coast, an area renowned for superb land based whale watching. Offering an air of understated intrigue, Pringle Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestles snugly between two of nature’s wonders, the Klein and Groot Hangklip mountains.
Our Pringle Bay Guest House, offers private and luxurious accommodation with panoramic ocean and mountain vistas to the discerning traveller. The guesthouse is an
“idyllic romantic getaway” for enjoying a coastal vacation. Access to the pristine sandy beach is via an indigenous “ fynbos” greenbelt, a few minutes stroll away, ensuring our accommodation is perfectly located for a beach vacation. Enjoy gourmet breakfasts whilst soaking up mountain and ocean views. There is an array of quality restaurants all within easy strolling distance of Moonstruck.
Awaken to the call of the Oyster Catchers, jog with the Sand Pipers, sneak up on the shy Cape Clawless Otter, and then return to a scrumptious breakfast and all this before you decide what the day has to offer. The surrounding countryside of the Western Cape region offers a diverse selection of eco-tourism and recreational activities; golf courses, wine routes, great white shark cage diving, botanical gardens, bird watching, a resident penguin colony, hiking and nature trails and the Kleinmond wild horses …to name but a few.
3 of our 4 rooms have their own fireplaces. hey are all extremely well appointed with every luxury your heart desires. Opulent bathrooms with large bathtubs, bidets, separate showers, travertine tiles, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, shaver points and a selection of aromatherapy bathroom products to pamper you with.
There is a rimflow pool and sundeck overlooking Pringle Bay beach and the Hangklip Mountains.Own path through the fynbos to the beach which is situated 100m away from the gueshouse. Stone massage, Swedish massage and reflexology available by prior arrangement.

Exploring the fare of the Whale Coast is a delectable delight. Marry the fine wines of the Hemel en Aarde Valley with the gastronomic basket of the Atlantic. Cape Rock
lobster, oysters, calamari, prawns, mussels and many more of Neptune’s delicacies are to be found gracing the tables of the superb local restaurants. Tour the wineries of Hermanus, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek and taste the wines that adorn the finest tables in Europe, the America’s and the Far East. Personal tours by prior arrangement.
Get up close and personal with the Great White in Gansbaai, ride the white waters of the Palmiet River, test your 4x4 driving skills, hook the one that got away, or skydive in

Directions:
From Cape Town International Airport: Take the N2 highway towards Sir Lowry’s Pass. After passing through Somerset West and Strand Industrial, turn right at the Gordon’s Bay/ Kleinmond sign (this is just before you start ascending Sir Lowry’s Pass).
Turn left at the T-junction and signboard in Gordon’s Bay marked Rooi Els/ R44, onto the R44 also named Clarence Drive – a spectacular marine drive. Within 15 minutes you’ll be in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, looking across False Bay to Cape Point. Continue past Kogel Bay, an area favoured by surfers, pass Rooi Els and then turn right into Pringle Bay, which is clearly signposted.
Drive for 2 kms until you reach a stop street. Continue straight down Hangklip Road for approximately 400m, and you will see our Guest House on your right hand side.
