Situated 90 minutes from Cape Town in Hermanus, internationally acknowledged as the whale watching capital of the world and widely referred to as the “Riviera of the South” . Hermanus is the heart of the Cape Whale Coast and is sandwiched between the magnificent Fernkloof mountain range and the exceptionally beautiful pristine coastline and beaches of Walker Bay. Hermanus is the only place in South Africa where you will find three of our national symbols ie. the national bird (Blue Crane), fish (Galjoen) and flower (King Protea). The Whale Coast is world famous for its “Champagne Air” with its healing, calming and restorative properties. Hermanus is also acknowledged as the best land based whale watching centre in the world.

From Cape Town drive straight into Hermanus down Main Street. At he point where you can go no further turn left (still Main Rd) continue on Main Rd out of Hermanus towards Gansbaai. When you get to a traffic cirle take the righthand fork which is Resevoir Road. When you go around the bend Resevoir Rd becomes 10th Street
