Description

This beautiful home is drenched with warm sunlight and spectacular views of the Onrus mountain. Its also just 1 kilometer from the sea so you often smell and hear the ocean.
Three sliding doors lead onto the pool area which looks onto the mountain - one from the open plan living area, one from the second bedroom and one from the Main Bedroom.
Off the kitchen area is an enclosed patio with a braai area, bar fridge very comfortable seating and a lush beautiful garden. This area is an entertainers dream.
Inside the house there is free wifi throughout and three double bedrooms with queen size beds in each one.
Each room has two sets of linen and bath towels (swimming towels can be arranged)
Main Bedroom: Sliding doors onto pool area, fire place, en-suite bathroom with double shower, open atrium and wardrobes with shelves and hanging area with coat hangers:
Second Bedroom: Sliding doors onto pool area, wardrobes with shelves and hanging area with coathangers, shared bathroom with room third bedroom.
Second Bedroom: Overlooks the lush garden, wardrobes with shelves and hanging area with coathangers, shared bathroom with room second bedroom.
Shared bathroom for second and third bedroom: Large oval bath and separate enclosed shower with basin.
Lounge/Dining room: Open plan with double sliding doors opening onto pool area. Two comfortable couches, two single wicker chairs, a coffee table, bookshelf with a variety of novels, a foreplace and an eight seater diningroom table. There is also a flat screen TV and DSTV (Satellite) television.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with matching sets for eight people and includes a gas stove, electrical oven, microwave, dishwasher and wshing machine.
Study: Wooden desk.
Parking: Off street parking behind a secure gate and room for more cars on the pavement.
In walking distance to the beach and famous 'Moltenos' restaurant and shops. Just 4kms away from the turnoff to the wonderful Hemel en Aarde Valley which is renowned for its Pinot Noir grapes and wines - and 7kms away from Hermanus which is a quaint fishing village with loads of character and charm.
Whale season: The Southern Right Whales visit our shores every year to mate and breed between June and November.
This area is the best land-based whale watching area in the world.

Directions:
From Cape Town via Sir Lowry's Pass
From Cape Town take the N2 highway toward Cape Town International Airport and Somerset West. Go past the airport and continue through Somerset West, staying on the N2. As you reach the end of Somerset West you will begin the long climb up Sir Lowry's Pass. At the top of the pass you can turn right into a lay-bye and enjoy spectacular views over Somerset West, Strand and False Bay all the way back to Table Mountain.
Continue on the N2 passing the Steenbras Dam on you right, the town of Grabouw on your left and miles of apple orchards as you head toward Caledon. At Grabouw there is a pleasant stopping point at the Peregrine Farm Stall on your right.
Continue past the Apple Packing Plants on your left and into the Houw Hoek Pass. There is another roadside restaurant at Houw Hoek (on your right) and the Famous Houw Hoek Hotel on your left. Go over the Houw Hoek Pass and down to the small village of Bot Rivier, where you take the exit to Hermanus (R43). Follow the R43 all the way to Hermanus.You will pass the turnoff to Wildekrans Wine Estate on your left, Barton Wines and Olives on your right. A little further on is a Shell service station, roadside restaurant and a Pot manufacturer as well as a Bali Furniture outlet.
A little further on is the junction with the R44 from Gordons Bay and Kleinmond. Continue straight to Hermanus. You cross the Bot River and Benguela Cove Wine and Housing Estate on your right, then Fisherhaven, Hawston, Vermont and then Onrus.
At the first set of traffic lights that you get to since being on the R43, turn right at the white shopping centre into Vermont Avenue. Immediately left into Main Road until a Fourways stop. Left into Douglas, first Right into Berg and number 25 is on your right hand side about 250 meters down.
