Beaumont Wines has a proud tradition of making individualistic wines from ancient clay-rich soils in the Walker Bay region.
It forms part of the Groenlandberg Conservancy in the Kogelberg Biosphere. The farm is a treasure to bird-watchers, botanists, wine tasters, horse riders, hikers, mountain bikers, lovers of vernacular architecture, artists - and those who simply need a guaranteed, quiet "getaway".
Beaumont Self Catering Cottages has two options:-
The Peppertree Cottage is the smaller more cosy one which has 1 bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the lounge. (sleeps max 4 people)
The Mill House is a very spacious cottage which has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a 2nd bedroom with two single beds and 2 extra beds in the lounge. (sleeps max 6 people) Both cottages have fully equipped kitchens and we supply all your bedding, bath towels and plenty of fire wood for the indoor fire places and the braai facilities.

Directions:
From Cape Town: Follow the N2 pass Grabouw and Houwhoek. Take exit 92 and turn left towards Bot River. Follow the road for 1km until you get the town square with the Hotel. The entrance to the farm is on your right opposite the petrol station just as the road bends to the left.
From Hermanus: Follow the R43 past Onrus, Hawston and the Kleinmond turn-off. About 1km after the Shell Garage, turn right to stay on the R43. Follow the road for 3km over the N2 and straight into Bot River until you get the town square with the Hotel. The entrance to the farm is on your right opposite the petrol station just as the road bends to the left.
