Fynbos Ridge is set on a magnificent fynbos reserve, with scenic mountain views. Set amongst the fragrant fynbos, the Cape Dutch style Country House is spacious and well appointed, and the self-catering garden cottages are comfortable and secluded.
Our character is relaxed luxury, peace and tranquility, enhanced by our friendly and professional service.
We are only a few minutes drive away from pristine beaches of Plettenberg Bay, award winning golf courses and a large selection of activities.
We offer fine dining, as well as delicious breakfasts.
Our organic herb and vegetable gardens supply our kitchen, and self-catering guests are welcome to pick their own salads.
The Garden Route is well known for exquisite bird life, whale watching and forest walks. Over 85 species of birds visit our property. Many varieties of protea flower in our indigenous gardens, which invite you to stroll around and explore.
The swimming pool is private and has the most amazing views.
An exciting addition to our services is the selection of art holidays, photography and birding courses that are now on offer.

Coming from George airport:
Turn right out of the airport property. Drive until you see sign to N2, turn left onto the N2 highway, and stay on the N2 through Sedgefield and Knysna. Travel for 23 km when you will see a brown national road sign on the left hand side of the road with Fynbos Ridge (and a picture of a bed). 200 metres AFTER the sign, turn left into the entrance and follow the signs to Fynbos Ridge and office.
Coming from Cape Town:
Take the N2 and drive through Knysna. Travel for 23 km when you will see a brown national road sign on the left hand side of the road with Fynbos Ridge (and a picture of a bed). 200 metres AFTER the sign, turn left into the entrance and follow the signs to Fynbos Ridge and office.
Coming from Port Elizabeth:
Take the N2 towards Cape Town/George. Stay on the N2 and do not take any of the turnoffs into Plettenberg Bay. 7klm after Plettenberg Bay you will see a brown national road sign on the left hand side of the road with Fynbos Ridge (and a picture of a bed). 200 metres AFTER the sign, turn right into the entrance and follow the signs to Fynbos Ridge and office.
