Originally these Spekboom Self Catering Cottages were “dorpshuise”, used by farmers from outlying areas when they came to Calitzdorp by ox wagon to celebrate “Nagmaal”
Spekboom Cottages are the perfect place for an unforgettable holiday far away from the city bustle. All the suites are fully equipped and can accommodate 16 guests if all the cottages are taken as a unit.
Spekboom Cottages have single and double en-suite bedrooms with showers (1 with bathtub), kitchen, patio or garden with braai facilities. Relax at the pool and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Little Karoo. There are fine restaurants, wineries and galleries, within walking distance of Spekboom Cottages. All the cottages have fans and heaters and tea and coffee facilities.
