Welcome to Riversong Guest House. Two guest houses, offering you a choice of a “Home away from Home Cottage experience” or “Boutique Guest House experience”. Both guest houses are beautifully furnished and offer 4 star service and quality.
Riversong Guest House is on the banks of Liesbeek River and boasts scenic views. Enjoy sundowners next to the pool or marvel at views of Table Mountain.
The Cottage is a 4 bedroom house with open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. Enjoy lazy afternoon’s barbequing next to the pool. The Cottage can be let on a self-catering basis.
The Guest House and Cottage is an ideal base for the holiday maker or discerning businessperson who is looking for more than a hotel room.
The owner gave up her corporate life of retail fashion to start this guest house and cottage 5 years ago. As well as running the guest houses, she enjoys making jewellery and painting which are for sale at the Guest house. Today the Guest House is one of the most popular guest houses in the Southern suburbs hosting overseas and local guests ... some of them TV and celebratory Sporting personalities.
Enjoy the tranquillity of the pool and garden while sun tanning or reading. The garden borders the Liesbeek river. Take a stroll down to the river and enjoy the serene sound of the river.

Situated a short walk from Newlands Cricket and Rugby Grounds, Claremont CBD, Cavendish Square, Vineyard Hotel and Conference centre, Sports Science Institute, SA Breweries and many restaurants and pubs around Newlands Village.

Directions from Cape Town international and the N1 highway
From the N1
Follow the N1 towards town. You will pass Canal Walk shopping centre on your right. Take the M5 turnoff on the left. Take the 2nd fly off on the left that says Cape Town. The Road curves and straightens and you should have the mountain in front of you. The signs say Kirstenbosch Gardens - keep in this lane. Take the left hand glide off to M3 Muizenberg. Continue on the M3 and take the Second off-ramp on the M3 South, M146 Princess Anne Ave: Follow Princess Anne Ave all the way down to Main Rd (M4). Turn right at the traffic light into Main Rd. Continue down Main Road until the third traffic light, just after the Newlands Swimming pool (on your right); on your left is the Newlands Southern Suns Hotel) At this third traffic light turn right into Sans Soucci Road and first left again, into Esme Road. The Guest house is at No. 14 Esme Road. The Cottage is at No. 54 Esme Road. Keys must be collected from the main Guest house at No. 14 for the Cottage.
