Directions:
To get to La Fontaine from Cape Town, take the N1 National Road and take exit 47 to Franschhoek / Klapmuts.
Follow the signs to Franschhoek via Simondium on the R45.
It takes about 45 minutes to drive to Franschhoek from Cape Town.
Entering the village from Cape Town, Follow the main road through the village,
turn left into La Rochelle street (Absa Bank is on the corner), at the stop street, turn
right into Dirkie Uys Street. la Fontaine Guest House is 50 metres up on the left.
From Cape Town International Airport Take N2 to Somerset West. Take the R310 to Stellenbosch and then onto Franschhoek
(still on the R310). You go through Hel’s Hoogte Pass then through the Village of Pniel.
When you reach the R45 turn right and follow the directions as above
There are major road works taking place in the area (May 2010) please exercise caution.
Entering the village from Franschhoek Pass From Hermanus/George/Grabouw, drive along the
main road in Franschhoek until you see the Absa Bank on the right hand side, turn right into La Rochelle Street, at the stop street, turn right into Dirkie Uys Street and La Fontaine Guest House is 50 metres up on the left.
