Tankwa National Park is situated at the southern end of the Northern Cape and forms part of Namaqualand, which is famous for its flowers in early spring. Accommodation at Tankwa National Park is mainly self catering cottages and units at various points in the reserve as well as one guest house situated on a private farm within the National Park.
