Rorke’s Drift Lodge lies nestled against the side of the Sinqindi Mountain and overlooks the battlefields of Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana. Guests are assured of awe-inspiring views that showcase an African landscape in its essence. From the Lodge one sees very little of the urban development of the area and the spectacularly vivid night skies are unrivalled.
At Rorke's Drift and there is more to do than just learn about the great battles of Rorkes drift, Isandhlwana and other locations. It is great birding country and we have a good selection of game on the farm.we conduct tours to the eight battlefields in the area by car and on foot. the terrain does not suit low profile tyres nor vehicles with low spoilers. Rorkes Drift Lodge - your obvious choice at the battlefields.

Directions:
From Johannesburg take the N12 East to Witbank.
At the Delmas turn-off take the R50 South to Delmas,
Leandra, Standerton. At Standerton take the
R23 South to Volksrust. At Volksrust take the N11
to New Castle. 18km past New Castle take the R621
to Dannhauser-Hattingspruit and Dundee.
Drive through Dundee en-route to Vryheid
on the R33. After 2 km you will pass the Talana Museum
on your left. Continue for a further 5 km until the R68
turn off to Nqutu-Melmoth-Ulundi, turn right.
Travel 26 km on R68 look out for turn off to
Rorke's Drift on your right, opposite Eskom sub station.
Turn right onto dirt road and carry on for 7 km.
At tee junction turn left towards Rorke's Drift.
Travel for 12 km into Rorke's Drift.
Go beyond Rorke’s Drift Museum and turn right
at our sign board. Proceed straight for 4.8 km
along a farm road to the lodge.
