Chestnut Cottage is situated in Kwa-Zulu Natal`s most exclusive coastal holiday resort, one of South Africa's most visited tourist Destinations. For the Business Executives or the International/Domestic traveler, Chestnut Cottage is the ideal stopover. We are close to all major centres, airports and game parks, Durban's ICC and the Drakensberg. During the day relax and enjoy the clean ocean air on a lounger by the swimming pool. At night enjoy the hustle and bustle of the cinemas, restaurants and theatres with live entertainment and the casinos. Chestnut Cottage is a family friendly establishment and children of all ages are welcome. We are a 5 minute drive to Umhlanga`s pristine beaches and superb surfing as well as the Gateway Shopping Complex with its famous "Wave House" and "Climbing Rock".

From Johannesburg take the N3 straight towards Durban, when arriving in the Ethekwini Municipal district area (Durban) while on the N3 just pass the Pavillion Shopping Centre you will come across a network of bridges just before entering the city itself called "Spaghetti Junction" Keep on the far left hand lane just before going over the network of bridges which will have sign boards directing you to the N2 Freeway, north coast of KZN, Richards Bay, Stanger etc.(From Durban International Airport as well) Carry on with the N2 north bound towards the north coast till you arrive at the Umhlanga/ Mount Edgecombe Off ramp. Take the Umhlanga Rocks off-ramp left, and then at the traffic light turn right. Next off-ramp will be Umhlanga Rocks Drive to the left. Go past the McDonalds, the Shell garage and the hospital. Keep to your left into Herrwood Drive (past the Sharks Board). Take first turning left into Autumn Drive and carry on straight till you get to Chestnut Crescent. Turn left and then right into Chestnut Crescent. We are No. 50, the third house on the right
