Welcome to Assagay Country Guest House
Set in 4 acres of gardens with birds, ducks and fish ponds with outstanding views to relax you, your friendly hosts Anne & Keith Gee offer you a comfortable unforgettable stay in above average self catering units, a full English breakfast can be served on request at an additional cost. The property is fully fenced with electric gates and ample safe parking including 2 covered bays.
We are a 3mins drive to Hillcrest where there are 3 shopping centre’s with most of the big chain stores the Heritage Supper Theatre and 35 restaurants and take outs, or drive through Botha’s Hill with its pubs, a cultural Zulu Village with crocodile farm, restaurant and game park, the famous comrades route and stunning views of the 1000 Hills. For the horse enthusiasts we are a 10min walk to the famous Shongweni Polo/show grounds and watch the show- jumping or polo or go further on to Shongweni dam for fishing and boating and of course not to forget the many great golf courses close by.
The new Assagay private hospital will be opening June 2010 and is a 5 minute walk from us.

If approaching from Pietermaritzburg
Take the M13 glide off from the N3. Then take the 1st turnoff which says "Hillcrest West / Assagay". At the stop street turn left [Kassier Road] Proceed passed the Alverstone turnoff on the left and continue down the hill until you see the next turnoff on the left which is Assagay Crescent. Then just follow our signs.
If approaching from Durban
Proceed along the M13 [or the N3] and take the Assagay, Shongweni, Hillcrest W. turnoff. Turn right. This will take you into Kassier Road. Then follow directions as above.
