Description
Enjoy the unique experience of our fully equipped and serviced self-catering and B&B accommodation, with beautiful views overlooking the river and hills. Sleep to the sound of the river rapids. Situated on 23 hectares of rolling countryside in the tourism supply zone for the World Heritage Site, The Cradle of Humankind.
The property is adjacent to the Lanseria Airport providing a peaceful getaway 40 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the environs of Joburg and Sandton.
The farm is located in an area that teams with all sorts of public activities from ballooning and fishing to elephant riding and wildlife parks. BirdlSelf Catering:
The accommodation is fully equipped for self catering with all the following being provided: fridge/freezer, microwave, stove, TV, cutlery, crockery, linen and towels. Braai areas are available in the garden and on the river. Wood and braziers will be provided on request.
Downstairs accommodation, the ‘Dabchick’ and ‘Swallow’, sleep 2 i.e. double bed - one bedroom en suite. The ‘Dabchick’ and ‘Swallow’ have verandahs overlooking the river and come with Webers for braaing. Accommodation is cosy, attractive and comfortable.
Upstairs accommodation, the ‘Starling’ and ‘Hadedah’, have spacious verandahs overlooking the river and sleep 5 and 7 respectively i.e. Starling has a master bedroom with a double bed, a spare room with two single beds and an extra bed in the lounge, whilst the Hadeda has two bedrooms with two single beds pushed together in each bedroom, along with two bunk beds in the one room and an extra bed in the lounge. Extra beds may be arranged as required and upstairs flats have space for additional beds in the large lounges.
• The flats are serviced daily and the dishes washed.
• Laundry is available upon request as are irons and ironing boards.
• All the accommodation have fans, heaters and mosquito nets.

Directions:
Traveling north along Malibongwe Drive (R512) from Randburg, heading towards the Hartbeespoort Dam, turn right at the Lanseria Centre three way stop, towards the Lanseria Airport. Go straight over the next three way stop heading towards the Blair Atholl / Monaghan Developments. Go through an avenue of pine trees, straight over the three way stop at the chicken farm. At the bottom of the hill turn right at the Hills and Dales sign onto dirt road. Take the first road to the right, which will be signposted. Go up the road approximately 200 metres and press the intercom for the ‘house’ at the black gate to the entrance of Hills and Dales.
