Description
Rietpoort Game and Guest Farm is situated 11km from Trompsburg which is on the N1 to Cape Ttown. Rietpoort Game and Guest Farm is a merino sheep farm where the sheep are sheared once a year and people can have a look. The sheep have little lambs every 5 months and the children can sometimes feed the ones without mothers.
Its also a game farm where springbuck, blesbuck, swart wildebeest and gemsbuck can be viewed. There are also tame springbuck in the garden. Rietpoort has a beautiful garden with big trees and the cottages are in the garden.
In the garden is a fountain dam where ducks are swimming. Behind the cottages is a big hill and people love to see sunsets on the hill. There is a walking trail up
the hill. There are also horses available which the children can ride on.
You are invited to stay over in one of our luxury fully equipped garden cottages with
air conditioner, electric blankets, DStv TV, kitchenette, fridge, safe parking and braai

All linen and towels are supplied. Every cottage have there own bathroom. Relax at pool or enjoy a game of tennis. Our delicious dinner of Karoo lamb is served on early request in the lapa.

Take the Trompsburg off ramp (S127) and turn toward Trompsburg. The road entering town becomes Louw Street. Turn Left into Voortrekker Street and then right into Jan Street.Go over the 4 way crossing of R704 and then take the next right which is the S542. Rietfontein is 11kms down this road.
