The Bishops Inn Hotel is situated opposite Kings Beach and close to the Port Elizabeth city centre, restaurants, hospitals, airport and all of Port Elizabeth's other world famous “must see” attractions.

The unique design features 19 sea-facing and 31 non sea-facing rooms and suites.
The accessible facilities are rooms/suites with en-suite bathrooms which have been specifically designed to suit the needs of our disabled visitors. The room/suites are fully air conditioned and are equipped with a double bed, television with Movie Magic and Super Sport channels and tea/coffee making facilities. The design allows easy access for wheelchairs and the bathroom is fully accessible. Common areas such as parking and reception have been designed with the specific needs of the paraplegic guests in mind.
The Bishops Inn Hotel has a number of self catering suites as well comprises a bedroom with an en-suite shower/bath and an open plan lounge/kitchen area. The bedroom has a double bed or two single beds and is equipped with a remote controlled air conditioner. The kitchenette is fully equipped and has a fridge, microwave oven, and a small counter top stove. The lounge is also air conditioned with a television with Movie Magic and Super Sport channels, and a comfortable couch which can be folded out into a sleeper couch.
The Bishops Inn Hotel has an intimate conference venue that can seat up to 40 guests, depending on the layout required. The in-house caterer has a variety of menus to offer, ensuring that all special dietary requirements are met. We pride ourselves in going the extra mile to ensure our client’s satisfaction.

Coming from Cape Town or Grahamstown/East London:
Follow the N2 National Road to the Turn-off into the M4 Settlers Way ( Setlaarsweg ). Drive the M4 Settlers Way into direction Summerstrand for 7 km to the first traffic lights. From these traffic lights follow the road for 1 km in the middle lane over the next traffic lights into the M13 to Summerstrand. From the next traffic lights turn after 100 m into the first street to the left ( Killarney Road ) and follow it for 300 m to the Bishops Inn on the left.
Coming from the Airport:
Turn right from the Airport Exit into Allister Miller Road and follow it for 1,7 km to the traffic lights. From these traffic lights turn right into La Roche Drive and follow it for 1,6 km. Turn left into Marshall Street, follow it for 350 m, then turn right into Ayliff Road and after 100 m turn left into Killarney Road. After 200 m you will find Bishops Inn on the right.
