Situated in the upmarket beachfront suburb of Summerstrand, we offer luxury 5-star bed & breakfast accommodation. Our guest house is situated only 200m from Port Elizabeth's popular beachfront, is just a few minutes away from The Boardwalk Casino & Entertainment complex and the Port Elizabeth airport and on the main bus route to all major attractions. The only true links golf club in South Africa, Humewood Golf Club, is just 5 minutes away!
The guesthouse boasts a large salt water swimming pool set in a beautiful garden. Here guests can laze around and enjoy the sun.
Stylish, elegant accommodation is provided in 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. All rooms offer shaded garden patios with private access onto the pool deck. All the suites - individually decorated - cater for all tastes and needs, from the romantic honeymoon suite, to rooms where all guests can utilize free internet access.
Wake up to the wonderful aroma of home baking and freshly ground coffee. Scrumptious and very generous continental and/or English breakfasts are served in the well-designed dining room. On leaving the airport, turn right at the roundabout. Proceed on Alistair Miller until you reach a traffic light.
Turn right into La Roche Drive and proceed along this road, passing through 2 traffic lights until the road intersects with Beach Road on the ocean front.
Turn right into Beach Road and proceed for 2km, keeping the ocean and beachfront on your left and passing the Oceanarium, Boardwalk Entertainment Complex and Protea Marine Hotel on your right.
Turn right into 7th Avenue and continue for 150m.
Carslogie House is well sign-posted and is situated on your right. Our house is numer 11.

When approaching Port Elizabeth on the N2, take the M4 off-ramp.

Continue along the M4, keeping the ocean on your left.
Follow the Summerstrand signs.
The freeway ends at a traffic light. The harbour is on your left.
Proceed along the road and continue straight when passing underneath a railway bridge. The road sign indicates Summerstrand veering right - DISREGARD THIS AND CONTINUE STRAIGHT.
Proceed for another 4km, keeping the ocean and beachfront on your left and passing the Oceanarium, Boardwalk Entertainment Complex and Protea Marine Hotel on your right.
Turn right into 7th Avenue and continue for 150m.
