Sundays River Mouth Guesthouse is a luxury Self Catering Holiday Home situated on the East Coast of South Africa approximately halfway between Cape Town and Durban and only 38 km from Port Elizabeth and only 2 Minutes off the N2 Highway.
Situated in the sleepy holiday village of “Colchester” on the banks of the Sundays River Mouth,Sundays River Accommodation is ideally suited for:
A single night sleepover for the weary guest wanting to break their journey or a guest wanting to spend some extra time to enjoy what the beautiful Sundays River Mouth Guesthouse
surrounding area has to offer.
It is also ideally suited for the guest wanting to visit the “Addo Elephant Park” as the Southern Entrance of the park is only 4 km’s from the guesthouse. Enjoy superb water sports, fishing,swimming at one of South Africa’s largest tidal river estuaries.
Sundays River Mouth Guesthouse consists of a two bedroom upper-deck structure with a large wooden deck that has a view of the Sundays River. It can accommodate maximum of 7 persons. Children under 8 years old NOT allowed due to the high quality of breakable equipment
It is also a strictly NON-SMOKING establishment
The Main Bedroom has 3 beds and is slightly larger than the second bedroom. Two beds are together and a single bed is provided for an extra guest.
The bedroom has a large sliding door opening onto a large wooden deck that has a direct view of the Sundays River.
The Second Bedroom has similar high quality furniture and furnishings with a “honey oak” theme and is brand new.
Very large open plan air-conditioned lounge and dining room. A separate king size double sleeper couch accommodates the 6th and 7th persons
“Flat Screen TV” with HD – VCR payer.
Fully equipped “Open Plan Kitchen”
With combination gas and electric equipment all in high quality stainless steel.
Lounge has two large sliding doors leading out to the entertainment deck.
Facilities on the deck include a “Cadac Kettle Braai” and a small stainless steel “Braai” as well as two tables and 8 chairs. Braai wood and charcoal not included.
Village Facilities include
Two supermarkets, two restaurants, bottle store, Grunters Pub & Grub, all night shop, garage,
two slipways
Pricing information
Children younger than 8years are not allowed.
- Children aged 8 – 11, rates are discounted by 50%
- Children 12 and over are charged adult rates
**An extra R75.00 per person will be charged for day visitors**
Low Season R220 pps and R320 single.

Take the N2 National Road by pass out of Port Elizabeth toward East London. After you cross the Sundays River take the second turn to your right and then at the T junction turn left into Pont Street.
Go up Pont Road, turn right into Head Road and then Head Road curves to the left and becomes Wellington. We are Number 62
